Special Needs Planner?????

A Special Needs Financial Planner has asked to come speak.  I want to take a poll to see who is interested.  It would be to help plan for the future of your child if you think they will need help financial later in life. I already have one set up for Kyle but I see no need for Angelina.  Let me know if you think we have interested people and should have them speak.See More

What is the Difference Between Section 504 and IEP?

Are you confused about the differences between Section 504 and an IEP under the IDEA 2004? You aren’t alone. It is important for you, as the parent, to understand that your child has different rights under a Section 504 plan (Americans with Disabilities Act – ADA) and an IDEA 2004 Individualized Education Program (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004 – IEP).

The ADA (504 plan) is a civil rights law and so ensures equal access to education regardless of disability. IDEA… Continue

Mountain Peaks

We came together on the highest mountain on this earth.

As years went by we separated into rivers from the tears this mountain cried.

We all fell into different rivers flowing through forests, rocks and waterfalls.
